Community Groups
Our Community Groups are where the church starts to feel like family. They are the heart of our life as a church beyond Sunday mornings. Across our city groups of 8-20 believers gather to connect, share food, study the Bible, and pray for one another.
This is the best first step in getting connected to Cross of Grace Church.

Baptisms
Have you placed your faith in Christ, but have yet to be baptized? Throughout the New Testament people are hearing the gospel and responding by getting baptized. If you are a believer and have come to faith in Jesus Christ we encourage you to fulfill the biblical command to be baptized.

GriefShare Meeting (Daytime)
It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel.
This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you’ve never faced before.
“Going to GriefShare feels like having warm arms wrapped around you when you’re shivering.”
Our GriefShare group meets weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life.
You are welcome to begin attending the GriefShare group at any session. Each is “self-contained,” so you do not have to attend in sequence. You will find encouragement and help whenever you begin. You will be able to continue with GriefShare through the next 13-week cycle and view any of the videos you have not seen.

Child Dedications
Child Dedication is a public commitment made between parents and their children, before God and the church. By dedicating a child, a parent vows to follow God's plan in Scripture for raising their children and to lead their child to love and follow Jesus. At the same time, the church commits to support and encourage the family in their commitment to Christ.
Dedications will take place during both of our services.

SGC West Regional Youth Retreat
Why?
Camp is such a great opportunity for our youth to get to know each other better and to build gospel friendships locally. Camp is also a great opportunity to get to know youth from all over our region and build gospel friendships outside of the local community. Camp is a great way to spend a weekend worshiping together, unplugging from the day-to-day routines, unplugging from devices, and spending time in the woods having fun with a gospel focus.
How Much?
The total cost for camp is $275 per person. This includes lodging, food, camp costs, and supplies. Last year we were able to fundraise the full amount for all students between our whole church fundraiser and our Mr. Car Wash fundraiser. Of course, if you’d just like to pay the fee outright, that would be fine, as well. We are also happy as a church to have conversations around scholarshipping students where necessary! Our desire is that every youth who wants to go to camp, is able to go to camp!
Who can come?
Any student entering 7th grade, through graduating seniors. For middle school students, we are asking that one parent accompany their child to camp as a chaperone. If this isn’t possible, we are able to make exceptions on a case-by-case basis!
Who else is going?
Great question! Sovereign Grace churches in Gilbert, Yuma, Tucson, Santa Ana, El Paso, Orange, and Denver will all be sending kids and leaders to camp!
What are the next steps?
Register your child today! If you have questions please contact Jon Vogan.
This camp is going to be awesome. All of our youth who attended last year had a great time and we’re so looking forward to having another blast of a camp weekend.

Alpha
What is Alpha? Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the basics of the Christian faith. Each session looks at a different question that people can have about faith and is designed to create conversation. It’s an open, informal, and friendly place where individuals can explore their Christian faith at their own pace, get answers to their questions, and where honest opinions are welcomed and listened to. What does it look like? It's simple: food, a talk, and good conversation. So whether you're a Christian with questions or have a friend, coworker, or family member looking for answers, this course might just be the tool you need!
Some of the questions we will be looking at include:
Is There More To Life Than This?
Who is Jesus?
Why Did Jesus Die?
How Can We Have Faith?
Why and How Do I Pray?
Why and How Do I Read the Bible?
How Does God Guide Us?
How Can I Resist Evil?
Why and How Should I Tell Others?
Does God Heal Today?
What About the Church?
What is the commitment?
Alpha meets once a week, for 9 consecutive weeks at the church with one additional meeting on a Saturday morning. Each weekday meeting lasts approximately 2 hours.
What will each week look like?
Each week, you will enjoy a free meal, hear a short teaching and encouragement, and then meet in small groups where you will talk about the teaching and share life in an open and friendly, and no-pressure environment.
Let us know you're interested in attending by registering today!

3-Sunday Foundations (Membership) Class
Our Foundations Class, also known as our membership class, is open to all those interested in learning more about our church or interested in joining Cross of Grace as a member. Attending the class does not obligate you in any way to become a member, but it will provide you with more information about what we believe as a church, who we are as a church, and what our vision as a church is so that you can decide if Cross of Grace Church is the church for you. Learn more about our membership process here.
The three-part class will take place during our 9 am service on March 17, March 24, and April 7. (March 31 is Easter Sunday and we will be having an offsite service at McKelligon Canyon.)
We encourage everyone attending the class to attend our 11am service, in addition to attending the class at 9am.
Click here to register for the class at 9am. The class will run from 9am to -10:15am.

Easter in the Canyon
Join us this year as we gather to celebrate Easter at McKelligon Canyon.
Our service will start at 9am. Doors open at 8:15am.
Our Service
Our service will take place outdoors in the McKelligon Canyon Amphitheatre, set in the beautiful setting of the Franklin Mountains. Whether you’ve been to church many times or are attending for the first time you’ll feel comfortable and welcomed. Expect an hour and a half of music, singing, Scripture readings, preaching, and good news.
Kids Activities
Kids are welcome in our Easter service and it will be engaging for the whole family. We’ll hand out age-appropriate activity bags and coloring sheets to kids as they enter the theater.
After our service, we’ll have a party in the outdoor plaza where kids can expect activities like balloon animals, a photo spot, and face painting.
FAQ
What should I wear? There’s no dress code, so wear whatever you’ll be most comfortable in. Since our service is outdoors, please dress appropriate to the outdoor weather and temperature.
Will there be food or drinks? We’ll have drinks and snacks available after the service for everyone.
What if there is inclement weather? We’ll continue our service through light inclement weather but in an extreme case, we’ll send a text update and post a notice on our website by early Sunday morning. In the even of cancellation, we’ll revert to holding services at our church building.
Where do I park? Follow signs and you’ll be directed to the parking area.
Is there parking or drop-off for those disabled? There are several parking spots designated for those with disabilities right across from the entrance. There is also a drop-off area for those who need it.
How to Get There
Please plan for extra time to arrive and park at McKelligon (add a few minutes more than shown via Google Maps or similar).

This Good Friday we'll walk through Psalm 23 and see how the events of Good Friday show us this Good Shepherd.
Childcare will be available for kids ages 9 months to 7 years of age.
Note: Our Easter service will be off-site but our Good Friday service will still be at the church building.
GriefShare Meeting

Youth Group Meeting
Cross of Grace Youth Gathering - 7th to 12th grade students will gather to study God's word, engage in small-group discussions, and build relationships.
We long to see gospel renewal in our city's YOUTH, and through them, the world.
Gospel Renewal: We long to see youth renewed by the gospel of Jesus and that renewal spread to every area of life.
El Paso: We love our city and want to see it renewed as youth encounter Jesus and bring glimpses of gospel renewal to workplaces, families, neighborhoods, and communities.
The World: We want our youth to be part of what God is doing in the world today and in our city. We have a unique opportunity to reach far beyond our city limits by reaching people here.
College & Young Professionals Group Meeting
Our College Age Group is made up of men and women between the ages of 18-30 who gather together throughout the year for fellowship, to share life, and to encourage one another.
