The Advent season brings us the good news of the coming King and his Kingdom.

In our culture, Christmas is a season of anticipation, of looking forward, of waiting. We look ahead to a special meal or joyful reunion with family or giving the perfect gift or Christmas lights in the neighborhood. As great as this season often is, it's meant to point us to something greater.

The prophet Isaiah spoke of a coming King and his Kingdom at a time when God's people were crushed and oppressed by others. Isaiah pointed them forward to a day when a rescuing King would come and bring a better kingdom.

In our Advent season this year, we'll look at what Isaiah says about this coming king and his kingdom and see how the arrival of Jesus into the world fulfills so many of these promises. And yet, there are promises in Isaiah still unfulfilled. So in our generation, we look back at the coming of King Jesus and forward to his return. We anticipate, we watch, we wait, and we rejoice. We know that the best meal, the best reunion, the most beautiful lights, all point to something even better soon to come.

Join us as we spend the rest of 2019 looking at the words of the prophet Isaiah and rejoicing in the coming king and his kingdom.

-Ricky Alcantar, Pastor

We'd love to have you join us as we celebrate the Christmas season together! Whether this will be your first church service, or whether you've been to too many to count, you'll feel welcome and be able to understand and engage with this story of Christ.

Our special Advent services will begin on December 1st and continue through December 22 with services at 8:45am and 11:00am.

On December 24, we'll have a special Christmas Eve Service with our Christmas Choir from 5:30-6:30pm.

New around here? Dress however you feel comfortable. On Sunday mornings arrive a bit early and enjoy a cup of coffee. We'll have friendly greeters ready to help.

Kids joining you? On Sundays, our Kids Ministry team will provide a safe and fun environment for your kids. Children ages 1-5 can be check in to class before the service, and kids from age 6 through 6th grade can be checked in after our time of singing.

Childcare will not be available for our Special Christmas Eve Service.  The nursery and nursing mother's room will be open for parents who might need to utilize it. However, the nursery will not be staffed by our Kids Ministry team.  On Christmas Eve, there will be activity sheets and crayons available at the information table.
