In Acts 11-13 the church in Antioch, though faced with politcal and cultural conflict and persecution, becomes a powerhouse church. It is the first intentionally missionary church in the New Testament. It is the church that identifies and sends Paul as a church planter. It sends help to other churches financially and theologically. It trains and raises up leaders. It would not be an exaggeration to say that this church changed the course of the New Testament and the world.
After all we’ve endured in the last year and a half as a church, we believe God is calling Cross of Grace to be an Antioch church, to be a church on mission.
