Kids Ministry

About Cross of Grace Kids

We hope to come alongside parents to help kids learn about Jesus and to support parents in their God-given task of raising their children. Kids Ministry exists to disciple our children, and to equip parents to disciple them as well, this for God's glory and our joy.

Online Only

Are you only able to attend church online at the moment? We still want to encourage and equip your family during this season! For lesson material and parent resources, you can fill out this form or email Teresa at teresa@crossofgrace.net

Kids Ministry is Reopening!

We are currently offering a lesson for kids ages 6-12 years old during the 9 AM service. Drop off for the lesson will be after worship. Please ensure that your kids are checked-in before the service begins.

Drop off & pick up will be through the hallway entrance to Kids Ministry. A friendly volunteer will greet you, offer hand sanitizer, and guide your kids to their class. When picking up, please remember to show your security sticker to the volunteer.

Sunday Morning Kids Ministry

Ages 1-5

Currently, we are not able to offer in-person Kids Ministry for our younger aged kids. We are working on a way to open up more classes in the safest way possible.

In the meantime, we encourage your family to attend our in-person services and worship together as a family. During both services, we offer activity packets for kids of all ages and our 11 AM services include a Kids Teaching Moment.

Ages 6-12

Kids 6 and up are able to attend our Lesson during the 9 AM Service! After worship, parents can drop their kids off for a time of songs, Bible teaching, and fun activities.

One way you can help us get more classes open is by signing up to serve in Kids Ministry! We need more amazing volunteers to help with our younger ages. Interested in serving in our Kids Ministry? Fill out this form, or contact Teresa Filyes, our Deacon for Kids Ministry.

New Safety Procedures

Kids Ministry Waiver - All families will need to sign a waiver in order to participate in the Outdoor Kids Ministry Lesson. You can print a copy at home or sign one upon arrival at check-in. Download it HERE

You only need to fill out the waiver one time.

Temperature Checks

In order to provide a safe, healthy environment for all children in our care, all kids who will be attending the outdoor lesson will need to have their temperature checked by a friendly volunteer. Temperatures must be below 100.4. If a child has a temperature 100.4 or above they will not be admitted into Kids Ministry and we kindly ask that the family joins us online. Thank you for entrusting your children to us.

We have changed our check-in system! If you are a member or regular attender, you should already be in our system. If you are new to Cross of Grace or your kids have never attended, you will need to create a new account when you arrive at check-in or fill out this form to get the process started. Make sure to download the Church Center APP to check in using your phone! Please check-in your kids before service begins.

Getting to Class

On Sunday mornings, our Kids Check-In is available before the service for parents to sign their kids into our Kids Ministry. Children 6 years of age and older stay with their parents for our time of singing and announcements. Then, before our time of Bible teaching begins, those children, along with their parents, are released to the outdoor lesson. Parents pick up their kids at the end of the service.

Our Teachers

All our teachers are members of the church and have been screened before serving in Children's Ministry and received training through MinistrySafe. They are committed to providing a fun, safe, and loving environment for all kids.

Our Curriculum

We use The Gospel Project for Kids as our curriculum, which takes kids through the entire story of the Bible, explaining how each story relates to Jesus. You can see sample lessons and get more information on the Gospel Project for Kids Website.
